Biography
Dave Ament is now serving his fourth term as Mayor of New Berlin. He was first elected Mayor on April 2, 2013, after serving the citizens of New Berlin as the seventh district alderman for twelve years from 2001 - 2013. The Mayor was then re-elected in April of 2025 for his fourth term. Before being elected mayor in 2013, he owned and operated his business, Ament Industrial Truck, for 40 years.
Family
Dave has lived in New Berlin for over 69 years and has been married to Peggy for over 54 years and counting! They have three grown children: Beth, Sherry, and Matt.
