Election Mission & 2026–2027 Elections

The mission of the Clerk’s Office is to ensure that all elections are conducted fairly, accurately, and in compliance with the highest professional standards of election accountability, security, and integrity. We are dedicated to transparency in our processes, which fosters public confidence in the electoral system. Election integrity is a top priority for the City Clerk. Our goal is to ensure that every eligible voter in the City of New Berlin has the opportunity to cast their ballot and have it counted.

2026 Election Dates

Mark your calendar for the regularly scheduled 2026 elections.

  • February 17, 2026: Spring Primary Election 
    (NO PRIMARY IS REQUIRED FOR THE CITY OF NEW BERLIN)
  • April 7, 2026: Spring Election
  • August 11, 2026: Partisan Primary Election
  • November 3, 2026: General Election

2027 Election Dates

Regularly scheduled elections for 2027.

  • February 16, 2027: Spring Primary Election (if needed)
  • April 6, 2027: Spring Election

Election Types

  • Spring Primary Election: A nonpartisan primary held in February to nominate candidates for the Spring Election.
  • Spring Election: Held in April for judicial, municipal, county, and school district offices; includes referenda as needed.
  • Partisan Primary Election: Held in August (even-numbered years) to nominate candidates for the General Election.
  • General Election: Held in November (even-numbered years) to elect federal, state, and county positions and decide referenda.
